This technical field shirt is widely recognized as a “Combat Shirt,” commonly referred by the acronym UBACS (Under Body Armour Combat Shirt) or in Finnish as "tappelupaita." Designed for active movement and battles, it’s perfect for use under tactical vests and armor. The torso is crafted from a lightweight, breathable, and stretchy material, free from unnecessary pockets that could hinder movement or irritate the fighter's skin. The sleeves are made from durable ripstop fabric. The sleeve and collar design mirrors the ACU cut: it features arm pockets, Velcro adjustments at the cuffs, and a high collar for neck protection.

This technical shirt excels in warm weather conditions, making it ideal for active pursuits and work throughout the year, even without vests. The sleeves are intentionally spacious, allowing for greater mobility compared to standard field shirts and jackets.

Material: The torso fabric consists of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The sleeves are ripstop fabric, comprising 65% cotton and 35% polyester.

Size Selection: Combat shirts offer flexibility with their stretchy torso, making it less crucial to worry about gut and chest fit. For accurate size selection, measure the distance between your neck and wrist with your arm extended. Ensure the length is sufficient on the back, allowing the shirt tail to stay tucked into pants. Be mindful that rolling and gear generally elevate shirts above pants. If you prefer a looser fit, opt for one size larger, as there may be slight shrinkage after washing!
