M05 Tactical® Hunter Cold Weather Jacket, camo pattern. A rugged garment modeled after the Defense Forces' cold weather suit, enhanced for hunting and civilian use. The fabric meets the durability, visual, and IR reflection requirements of the Defense Forces. Composition: 70% PES, 30% CO, weight 230 g/m², with water and dirt-repellent finishing. The jacket features a chest pocket for radios and extended lower pockets suitable for gloves and a beanie. The shoulder has a phone pocket equipped with an antenna lock using a self-locking zipper. The zipper slider keeps the antenna secure in the pocket's corner. The insulation uses the same Climashield Apex thermal material utilized in the Nordic Combat Uniform (NCU) projects within the Nordic defense cooperation. This same insulation is also used by the US Army in their extreme cold weather gear. Wind flap secured with German Prymm snaps, equipped with two Napoleon pockets and two lower pockets, each protected by snow flaps over the zippers. High-quality Coats Optin 8 mm spiral zippers designed for heavy-duty professional use. The elastic bands are produced by the reputable Finnish company Inka Oy. The waistband features toggle adjustments on both sides, with replaceable elastic if needed. The hem includes a drawcord and military-grade YKK strong buckle fasteners. A spacious hood fits over a motorcycle helmet or fur hat, with an adjustable drawstring at the back for a closer fit. Velcro cuffs keep out wind and chill effectively. Tested military-grade Velcro withstands 10,000 openings and retains 64% of the original holding strength thereafter. There are designated areas on the chest for name and insignia.

Size: The size is indicated first as ease size and then numerical size. Jackets are relatively loose to allow proper layering for warmth underneath.

Washing Instructions: The M05 jacket can be washed at 60 degrees if necessary. Alternatively, it can be dry cleaned, utilizing tetrachlorethylene as a solvent. No bleaching, careful tumble drying is allowed. Iron at a maximum of 150 degrees. Avoid detergents with optical brighteners or bleaching agents. Review the detergent composition before washing to maintain IR properties for as long as possible.
