M05 Tactical® Hunter Cold Weather Jacket, Snow Camo. This jacket is crafted based on the Defense Forces' cold weather suit model, specifically optimized for hunting and civilian applications. The fabric meets the rigorous durability, visual, and IR reflection requirements of the Defense Forces. Composition: 70% PES, 30% C0, weight 230 g/m², with water and dirt-repellent finishing. The jacket features a dedicated radio pocket on the chest and expanded lower pockets that can accommodate items like hats and gloves. A shoulder pocket is designed for storing a phone, equipped with an antenna lock secured by a self-locking zipper. The zipper slider holds the antenna securely in place in the corner of the pocket. The thermal insulation uses the same Climashield Apex insulation found in the winter gear of the Nordic Combat Uniform (NCU) project under the NORDEFCO partnership. The same insulation is employed by the U.S. Army in their extreme cold weather gear. A wind flap is secured with German Prymm snap buttons, featuring two Napoleon pockets and additional lower pockets, protected by snow flaps over the zippers. High-quality, heavy-duty Coats Optin 8 mm spiral zippers are utilized. The elastic straps are produced by the renowned Finnish company Inka Oy. There are elastic drawcords on both the left and right sides of the waistband for a snug fit. The elastic cords can be replaced as necessary. The hem features a cord lock from YKK, made with military-grade strong buckle fasteners. The roomy hood accommodates either a motorcycle helmet or a fur hat and can be adjusted for size with the adjustment strap at the back. Velcro cinches at the cuffs keep wind and cold air out. The tested military-grade Velcro withstands 10,000 openings and retains 64% of its original fastening strength thereafter. Designated areas on the chest allow for the attachment of name and rank insignia.

Size: Sizes are listed with easy size first followed by numerical size. The jackets fit somewhat loosely to accommodate proper insulation layers underneath.

Washing instructions: The M05 jacket can be washed at 60 degrees when necessary. It can also be laundered professionally, in which case chemical cleaning with tetrachlorethylene is used. No bleaching is allowed, and cautious tumble drying is permitted. Iron at a maximum of 150 degrees Celsius. Avoid using detergents containing optical brighteners or bleach. It's advisable to check the composition of the detergent before washing. This instruction aims to preserve IR properties for as long as possible.
