M05 Tactical® Hunter Cold Weather Pants, Cold Weather Pattern. An upgraded model based on the cold weather pants used by the Finnish Defence Forces. Featuring two front pockets, these pants include full-length side zippers, allowing them to be worn easily while standing without the need to remove your boots. A drawstring waistband on the back keeps out the wind and cold. There are thigh pockets on both legs. The high front and back provide excellent protection against cold and drafts. The insulation material is the same Climashield Apex insulation used in the winter outfit of the Nordic Combat Uniform (NCU) project associated with Nordic defense cooperation. The same insulation is also utilized by the U.S. Army in their extreme cold weather gear. The two-way side zippers open from both the bottom and the top. The zippers can be fully opened to allow for easy layering over other clothing without removing your boots.
A drawstring on the waistband can be tightened with buttons on both the left and right sides. The drawstring can be replaced if needed without any tools. The cuffs can also be cinched with a drawstring. The adjustable straps feature soft-release buckles at 11mm thickness.

Material: Outer fabric: M05 Viking cold weather material, 70% polyester / 30% cotton; lining, padding, and fleece: 100% polyester.

Size: Sizes are indicated as easy fit followed by numerical size. The pants are quite loose to allow for proper layering of thermal base layers underneath.

Washing Instructions: M05 pants can be washed at 60 degrees Celsius if necessary. The product can also be dry cleaned; in this case, use tetrachloroethylene for chemical cleaning. Do not bleach, tumble drying is allowed on a low heat setting. Iron at a maximum of 150 degrees Celsius. Do not use detergents that contain optical brighteners or bleach. It is advisable to check the composition of the detergent before washing. This advice is given to preserve the IR properties for as long as possible.
