Mechanix Cold Work Base Layer Gloves, Black. The Base Layer is a waterproof soft microfleece-lined SoftShell glove that you can wear alone. Like many other Mechanix gloves, it features a touchscreen capability, allowing you to use your devices without removing the gloves, although this isn't the most convenient with gloves on. The palm has a Padlock™ non-slip silicone pattern for a solid grip on tools such as shovels. The gloves are equipped with hanging loops at the cuffs. They have a thin microfleece lining that is soft and warm, perfect for winter cold or cool, damp conditions. This glove is not fully waterproof but rather water-resistant.
