Rugged Wool-Cashmere Trousers, Brown. These durable wool trousers are breathable and ideal for nearly year-round use. The wool blend provides breathability, making them suitable for both the forest and the city. The rugged trousers feature a design familiar from combat pants. Comfort is enhanced by the stretchy fabric located below the waistband at the back, preventing any exposure of the lower back during movement. Zippered vents located at the back of the thighs help with airflow in hot weather and during vigorous activity. The sturdy wool fabric resists wear, and thanks to the cashmere wool, the trousers feel incredibly soft against the skin. Usually, rugged fabric can be a bit coarse which may lead to skin irritation without long underwear, but the wool-cashmere blend makes the fabric soft.
These trousers are equipped with spacious zippered thigh pockets that open wide due to their gathered design. They easily accommodate larger gloves and headgear. The pockets close with Optin's specially reinforced zippers, the same used in the Nordic Combat Uniforms. The knees have shape seams facilitating leg movement. Knee pads can be inserted through the opening at the bottom of the knee protection fabric and adjusted at the proper position with Velcro straps above the calves.
