Featuring a unique 3-layer Duratech construction, these socks are genuinely functional for outdoor excursions. The inner layer next to the skin is made of polypropylene, effectively wicking moisture away. The middle layer comprises merino wool, providing warmth and breathability. The outer layer of polyamide protects the wool from the heaviest wear, enhancing durability. A lightweight tightening knit around the foot improves fit for comfort.

At their best on nature treks and demanding hikes, the Posio socks excel in performance. Their thin structure still makes them suitable for running, work, or leisure activities.

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep's wool has excellent functional properties as it breathes and insulates heat well. Naturally renewable and biodegradable, this fiber absorbs moisture effectively, resists wrinkling, and springs back quickly. For wool products, airing is often sufficient instead of frequent washing. Wool retains inherent fire-resistance and stands up well against bacteria and mold.

Care Instructions:

We recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use.
Often, airing is sufficient for merino socks.
Wash gently at a maximum of 40 degrees.
Use the lightest spin cycle possible.
Utilize a mesh laundry bag to reduce wear.
Avoid detergents containing softeners or bleach.
Do not use a tumble dryer or aggressive drying methods.
Keep in mind that merino wool socks may shrink during washing; reshape/stretch the socks while damp to restore original size.
Use a lint remover; merino wool socks can pill easily during abrasion.
