British MTP Field Pack Shoulder Bag, Surplus

The Field Pack is designed for the British GSR gas mask, but this bag also serves as an exceptionally high-quality and clever general-purpose pouch. When closed, the main compartment measures approximately 30 cm x 30 cm x 10 cm. The front features two zippers that expand the bag further. Best of all, the side pockets attach with Osprey/MOLLE snap loops and can be detached for use as general pouches! An excellent upgrade! The dimensions of the side pocket are approximately 22 cm x 11.5 cm x 9 cm, perfect for holding water bottles.

The main compartment closes with a large flap featuring both a double snap and Velcro closure. The capacity of the main compartment can be increased by opening the front zippers, allowing for approximately 10-12 liters of gear to be packed. Essentially, the main compartment is one undivided space, but there are flat additional pockets along the side walls for documents or small items. Inside the main compartment, there are four female snap buttons and a couple of rubber loops for securing items. Each exterior side of the bag has Velcro or snap-closed side pockets attached with Osprey/MOLLE snap loops. The bag includes an adjustable-length shoulder strap with a quick-release buckle, and some bags also have a quick-release thigh strap. The back surface of the bag has two stiffened Osprey/Molle snap loops allowing the bag to be securely attached to a mounting matrix or belt.

The material is IRR protected, internally rubber-coated Cordura, providing excellent protection against rain. The quality is typically excellent as expected from British products. Packed bag dimensions with Velcro and snaps closed: approximately 32 cm x 38 cm x 15 cm.

The bags are unused or nearly unused surplus and often come in their original packaging. Naturally, minor storage-related scuffing may occur.
