Treehuggers – Essential Tree Hugging Straps

This suspension set includes 2 tree huggers, each 2m long and 2.5cm wide. One end has a loop and the other end has 5 loops spaced 50 cm apart. This means one end has a loop, followed by 1.5m of tree hugger, and then 5 loops spaced 50 cm apart. The tree hugger is designed to be extremely lightweight while still providing great adjustability.

Whoopie Slings PRO – Easily Adjustable Connection Ropes

Once you've attached the tree hugger straps to trees, connect the whoopie sling with a carabiner to the appropriate loop on the tree hugger. Using the five loops on the tree hugger, you can adjust the height of the hammock attachment (while adjusting the tree hugger attachment height influences the hammock height), and the whoopie slings allow you to adjust the tension of the hammock.

The Whoopie Slings PRO model features a hook that allows you to attach your gear to the suspension ropes or underneath the hammock.

Ultralight Carabiner – Hammock Carabiner 12 kN

The Bushmen ultralight hammock carabiner measures 8 cm x 4.7 cm and weighs only 21 g. The carabiner has a breaking strength of 12 kN, equivalent to 1200 kg. The gate opening of the carabiner is 20 mm, making it suitable for hammock camping, but not for climbing.
