Bushmen 3×3 m Ultralight Tarp. Extremely light and packs down to a small size. Made from reinforced 15D microripstop silnylon and weighs only 480 g (tarp only).

Waterproofing is rated at 3500 mm. A silicone layer is applied to the fabric surface, making it waterproof.

There are 16 attachment points that provide numerous setup options. The attachment points running along the centerline are reinforced, and the center seam is taped for waterproofing.

Guy lines are included (6 pieces) with adjustability straps. The adjuster makes tightening easy from the attachment point. The adjusters and lines are not permanently attached to the tarp, allowing for replacement.

Storage bag – features a carrying handle, making it easy to attach to a backpack. The storage bag is very tight, so there is a chance that it may not fit back in quickly when in a rush. The tarp fits its storage bag when folded and tightly rolled, not crammed.

Adjustable guy lines
Very important - the set includes six adjustable guy lines that serve as safety features for the tarp. These adjustable lines make attaching the tarp simple and straightforward. The hook at one end attaches to the tarp loop, and the other end secures to a stake or tree. Tightening is done through the adjuster at the tarp's end.

The Bushmen tarp loops and adjustable hooks are compatible. When the guy lines are tightened by pulling the adjuster through the line, the adjusters lock into place. Note: do not over-tighten.

These adjustable guy lines act as fuses. They are an essential part of the safety and careful handling of ultralight tarps. The adjusters are designed to yield under excessive strain. In situations where stresses or forces on the tarp exceed the grip of the adjuster, the line may slip from the adjuster lock. This serves as a warning and is an intentional way to protect the tarp from damage. The adjustable hooks and guy line work as protective fuses for the tarp. Excessive tightening, tripping over guy lines, or gusts of wind are not covered by warranty on material or manufacturing defects.

The ends of the guy lines have small pom-poms that may detach under excessive stress (they can also detach if pulled too hard). If a line slips off the adjuster, re-insert it back into the adjuster. Lift the tab on the pom-pom, using a knife tip or sharp object for assistance. Thread the line back inside the pom-pom between the "teeth" and close the tab.

If a "fuse" is triggered, it indicates that the guy lines have endured excessive force (e.g., tripped over, too strong a wind/gust) that may cause damage to the tarp. The pom-pom detaching is not a defect but a feature outside the warranty. To maintain the warranty, all six adjustable guy lines should be used to secure the tarp (they distribute forces on the tarp). Note, do not tie knots to the line coming out of the adjuster, as they will impede the adjuster's function.

Ultralight tarps are significantly lighter and pack down to a smaller size. The lifespan of an ultralight tarp can be notably reduced by rough or careless handling, so treat the tarp carefully and gently.
Ultralight materials do not employ thick reinforcements like those found in standard tarps for greater durability. For instance, superlight tarps do not hold up well to being attached to stakes on a tent. Furthermore, ultralight products do not endure strong winds and rapid jerks caused by gusts; they may tear unexpectedly in some areas. Always use the six adjustable guy lines provided with this product according to these instructions. If you resort to using other guy lines, we recommend using elastic cord at the attachment points to help soften the wind effects.
