Bushmen Whoopie Slings PRO Hammock Attachment Ropes. These ropes allow for seamless tightening or loosening of your hammock. As long as there is no tension on the Whoopie slings, they can be adjusted freely. Once weight is applied to the hammock, the ropes tighten and lock in place. The product comes with a mesh bag that can be attached with connection loops to your ridgeline.

Using Whoopie Slings
The short fixed loop attaches to the end of the hammock either by threading the entire end channel through or by using the loop on the fabric. The long adjustable loop is typically attached with carabiners to tree straps wrapped around trees.

Adjusting the Whoopie Sling is done by loosening and tightening the long adjustable loop. You can adjust the tension of the hammock seamlessly only when there is no weight on it; once weight is added, the Whoopie sling locks into place. You'll recognize the adjustable loop of the Whoopie Sling by its orange bead. This orange bead prevents the adjustable loop from retracting into itself.

Dimensions of the Whoopie Sling
A single Whoopie sling is 1.5 m at its longest and 45 cm at its shortest. The distance between the short fixed loop and the tightening area that fits inside one another is 20 cm, making it easy to thread the Whoopie Sling through the end channels of the hammock.

How to Attach the Whoopie Sling to a Hammock?
Attach a large safety pin to the fixed loop. Use the safety pin to guide the Whoopie Sling through the channel from end to end. Put your hand through the fixed loop and pull the part of the sling coming from the channel at the other end fully through the fixed loop. Tighten the loop formed by the threading at the end of the hammock. If the hammock feels too tight, you can create a fixed loop at the end of the hammock using separately sold Dyneema and attach the Whoopie Sling to that loop.

Pro – hooks
Bushmen's Whoopie Slings can be called Pro Whoopie Slings, as the extra part of the sling can be used for attaching gear. Convenient hooks on the ends of the slings can hold a backpack weighing up to 10 kg. If the leftover end of the Whoopie sling is short, the hook can be directly attached to the Whoopie Sling, creating a loop at the end of the hammock.

Note! Remember to leave enough distance between the backpack attached under the hammock and the hammock itself.
