BW Field Cook Set (Kidney Pack) 3-Piece. This legendary cook set has been in use by the German Army for quite some time. This 3-piece 'kidney pack' is a traditional field cooking set that allows for easy and pleasant dining in the wild. The cook set is made from lightweight aluminum, making it suitable for heavy-duty trekking use. Aluminum packs are not designed to be used directly over fire; cooking should take place in your own vessel while food is eaten from the cook set. However, many do use the pack directly over flames, which may cause the green paint to burn off during the first few uses.
