Domestically produced, traditional Lapinleuku with a leather sheath. Stained handle. Crafted in Northern Finland by Eräpuu.
The high-carbon steel blade retains its edge better than stainless steel but requires more care from the user. Always dry the knife blade thoroughly after use, and apply oil as needed - even cooking oil works wonders!

Sharpening:
• First, grind both sides of the blade with a coarse sharpening stone, moving along the edge until a "wire" forms at the blade's edge.
• Grind the wire off using the smooth side of the sharpening stone.
• Use water during the sharpening process.
• Clean and dry the blade.
• Regularly sharpen the knife to avoid needing extensive sharpening later.
Sheath Care:
• Treat the knife sheath with leather conditioner as needed.
Knife Care:
• Do not wash high-carbon knives in a dishwasher.
• Always clean and dry the blade after use.
• Store the knife in its sheath and keep it in a dry place.
• Occasionally treat the high-carbon steel with cooking oil or paraffin oil.
