The Fire-Maple STAR X model features a compact 0.8-liter hard-anodized cooking pot equipped with a heat exchanger and a powerful 2200 watt gas stove. This stove packs enough punch to quickly prepare meals for a few people. The entire set is lightweight, weighing only 610 grams. With this gear, boiling water, making coffee, and cooking food becomes effortless. The heat exchanger located on the pot base saves about 30% more gas compared to a standard pot. Included is an insulated sleeve for the pot, designed in a black checkered pattern (or some odd urban camo imitation in camo color).
All components nest within each other, creating a compact and lightweight set. It even accommodates a 100-gram gas canister inside. Quite handy. The gas burner thread is standard 7/16 (EN417), so you won’t have to hunt for canisters like you're chasing after dogs and cats; they are almost universally available. We offer a smaller Jetboil 100 gram gas canister that fits inside or a larger 230 gram Jetboil canister that won’t fit inside this package. The package includes a canister support base suitable for standard gas canisters. The burner features an integrated piezo igniter. This igniter works by pressing a button on the side of the burner, sending a spark that ignites the gas. The cooking surface allows for the use of virtually any pot or pan. The cooking pot includes a folding locking handle, as well as a lid with the same feature.
