The color scheme of the M05 frost camouflage mimics the hues of a winter forest landscape. Infrared reflectance values match those specified by the defense forces. When viewed through a night vision device, the camouflage cover's fabric reflections match those of the surrounding forest. Fiber reinforcement ensures durability and provides excellent conductivity, making the fabric antistatic. The border is surrounded by an adjustable shock cord for easy tensioning and securing with a cord lock, allowing for fitting to any backpack’s load.
