Source ILPS 2L-3L Hydration Bladder with UTA Adapter, Black. This low-profile bladder is specifically designed for use with ballistic vests. It maintains a slim profile even when full, usable in both 2-liter (in vest) and 3-liter (in backpack) configurations. The bladder's QMT (Quick Mate Technology) is designed for horizontal routing, allowing the tube to exit the ballistic plate pocket without getting pinched or kinked. Thanks to its design, it retains its shape and is uniformly thick when in use.

Source has not only improved maintenance by enlarging the cap but has also developed a new Widepac-opening bladder, allowing the entire top of the bag to open. The mouthpiece is angled 90 degrees, making the tube 25 cm shorter, reducing interference. The drinking tube is covered with an extremely abrasion-resistant material, insulating the water from the external cold and blocking UV rays.

The mouthpiece features a Storm design, ensuring it opens with a pull. It’s easy to disassemble, clean, and maintain, with operation via the mouth. Advantages over a bite valve include higher flow rate, improved winter functionality, and leak resistance under pressure. The mouthpiece attaches to the tube via a QMT link. If using your hands to open is not possible, we recommend the HELIX valve mouthpiece.

Included in the package is Source’s UTA (Universal Tap Adapter), a tap and bottle adapter compatible with Source's QMT bladders. This adapter allows easy filling directly from a tap without having to remove your hydration pack or bladder from your back. The UTA temporarily replaces the mouthpiece during filling.

The internal surface of the reservoir is made from a specially smooth film, with a smoothness comparable to glass. This smoothness is vital as growths that feel slimy require a rough surface to adhere. With a smooth surface, no adherence occurs, making the reservoir self-cleaning when fresh water is replaced, removing all impurities. The surface is also treated with Grunge-Guard, acting as a molecular-level barrier that bacteria avoid. Due to these features, Source does not offer cleaning tablets or special maintenance tools in their range. All necessary maintenance can be performed without special equipment, except for the tube which requires a tube brush. However, personal experience has shown that the bladder is practically maintenance-free.
