Source Kangaroo 1 L Hydration Bladder, Coyote. This compact one-liter hydration bladder features a large widepack opening, allowing for complete access from the top. The mouthpiece is angled at 90 degrees, resulting in a shorter tube that stays out of your way. The drinking tube is covered with an extremely durable shield, insulating the water from outside heat and blocking UV radiation.

The mouthpiece is of the Storm model, featuring a pull-pull opening, and can be swapped with the squeezable Helix model. It is easy to disassemble, clean, and maintain. The Storm mouthpiece allows for pull/push operation and can be opened using your mouth.
Compared to bite-valve openings, this design offers higher flow, better performance in freezing conditions, and leak-proof operation under compression.

The inner surface of the reservoir is made from a special smooth film, with a surface smoothness comparable to glass. This smoothness is crucial as any growth, which sometimes appears as slime, requires a rough surface to adhere. With a smooth surface, adhesion cannot occur, making the reservoir self-cleaning, as replacing clean water clears out all impurities.
It also features Grunge-Guard technology, which acts like a scent that bacteria avoid, functioning at the molecular level. Because of these properties, Source does not include cleaning tablets or special cleaning tools in their offerings. All necessary maintenance can be performed without special equipment, except for the tube, which requires a tube brush.

The user-friendly SQC (Source Quick Connect) system allows for easy connection between the tube and reservoir.
