Source WXP Storm Valve Hydration Bladder, 2.0 L, Black. The Source WXP Storm Valve hydration bladder has a 2-liter capacity. It features a large cap and wide pack opening for easy access from the top. The bite valve is angled 90 degrees, allowing for a shorter and less obstructive tube. The drinking tube is covered with highly abrasion-resistant material, insulating the water from external temperature and blocking UV rays.

The bite valve is of the Storm model, which opens by pulling, and can be swapped for the squeezable Helix model for easier access. The valve is easy to disassemble, clean, and maintain. The Storm valve is operated by pulling/pushing. Opening is done by mouth.
Advantages over a bite-valve include higher flow, better performance in cold weather, and no leaks from squeezes.

The interior of the tank is made of a special smooth membrane, flawless as glass. Surface smoothness is crucial as bacteria, which may feel slimy, need to stick to a rough surface. When the surface is smooth, no sticking occurs, making the tank self-cleaning when clean water replaces all impurities.
It also features a Grunge-Guard treatment that acts like a barrier repelling bacteria on a molecular level. Due to these features, Source doesn't include cleaning tablets or special maintenance tools in their lineup. All necessary maintenance can be performed without special tools, except for the tube, which requires a tube brush.
