Source WXP Storm Valve Hydration Bladder, 3.0 L, Olive Green. The Source WXP Storm Valve hydration bladder has a capacity of 3 liters. Featuring a large opening with a wide pack opening, the bladder fully unzips from the top. The drink tube is positioned at a 90-degree angle, making it shorter and less obtrusive. The drink hose is coated with a highly abrasion-resistant shield, insulating water from external heat and blocking UV rays.

The spout is a Storm design, which pulls open and can be interchangeably replaced with the squeezable Helix model for easier use. The spout can be easily disassembled, cleaned, and maintained. The Storm spout operates by pulling/pushing and can be opened using the mouth.
Advantages compared to bite valve systems include greater flow, improved functionality in freezing conditions, and leak-free operation under pressure.

The interior surface of the reservoir is made from a specially smooth film with a smoothness comparable to glass. This smooth surface is crucial since microbial growth, often appearing as slime, requires a rough surface to attach.
With a smooth surface, adhesion does not occur, making the bladder self-cleaning as replacing with clean water removes all impurities.
The surface is also treated with Grunge-Guard, acting as a molecular barrier that bacteria avoid. Due to these features, Source does not offer cleaning tablets or other specialized maintenance tools. All necessary maintenance can be performed without special equipment, except for the hose, which requires a hose brush.
