Shelf life is 7 years from the date of manufacture.

Summit To Eat Preparation Instructions:

Tear open the bag at the indicated spot and remove the oxygen absorber.
Carefully add boiling water to the bag (up to the fill line).
Stir the contents well and seal the bag.
Wait a few minutes, stir the meal, and season to taste!
Carefully pour off any excess water.
