The Sentinel 40's roll-top closure also includes a zipper to ensure your gear stays securely inside, while keeping dirt and debris out. The main compartment has a designated spot for a hydration bladder, with a hose pass-through located between the shoulder straps on the back. You'll find ample Velcro and laser-cut PALS webbing for attaching pouches on the main compartment. A flat zippered pocket adorns the front of the backpack.

On the sides, there are compression straps that connect to a buckle on the front of the pack; these straps are removable.

Included with the backpack is a chest strap and a padded, wide hip belt, which also features laser-cut PALS webbing for additional pouches; the hip belt is detachable.

The back panel and shoulder straps are padded for enhanced comfort during use.

The material is 700D Cordura, a well-known fabric that surpasses the durability of the commonly used 500D Cordura, while being lighter than the heavier 1000D.
