Insulated Poncho M05 Camouflage. This poncho incorporates innovations not found in comparable products. Instead of polyester batting, it features Climashield® Apex hollow fiber filament insulation. The filament insulation eliminates the need for stitching, thereby avoiding cold spots created by needle holes.
The ponchos can be universally combined with compatible zipper systems to create a tent awning or form a bivy bag for three people using two ponchos. The outer fabric is aluminum-coated, while the polyurethane backing reflects heat and prevents detection by infrared camera drones. In the corners, laser-cut attachment points made from laminated 2-layer Cordura fabric replace bulky and heavy tactical straps. Use this poncho as a mountain cloak, sleeping bag cover, bivy bag, tent, tarp, or sleeping bag—whatever you can imagine.
