Czechoslovakian M10M Gas Mask with Bag, Surplus. The M10M is an updated version of the M10 gas mask, production of which began in the early 1980s. Updates included strap modifications, addition of a drinking tube, and unification of the exhalation element into a single plastic piece around which the drinking tube is placed.
The M10 was one of many Warsaw Pact clones of the M17 mask and was distributed for use by the Czechoslovak People's Army and East Germany's National People's Army. After the Cold War, it was replaced in Czechoslovakia with the M90. The Czechoslovakian M10 mask closely resembles the U.S. M17 in many aspects but features some distinctive differences.
The mask comes with unused spare lenses in original packaging, a rubberized mask bag, and a gas cartridge in its original packaging.
Condition: used surplus, may show various signs of wear and tear. The rubber is worn and somewhat dried out.
