Romanian M74 Gas Mask, Surplus. The Romanian M74 gas mask is a licensed copy of the German M65 gas mask. The filter has been partially updated from the M85 model, yet the M74 remains an operational piece of gear.
Crafted from olive green, chemically resistant neoprene rubber, this gas mask features two triangular, rounded lenses (oculars) and a round breathing valve. Additionally, it includes a mouthpiece designed to prevent fogging inside the mask. It is equipped with a STANAG 4155 threaded gas cartridge connector. The mask comes complete with a carrying bag and a filter. Gas masks are sold for collection and decorative purposes only and should not be used for their original intended application. Contains no asbestos.

Condition: gently used or unissued surplus, generally in better condition, though some general storage wear and lens edge discoloration may be present.
