Romanian M74 Gas Mask, surplus. The Romanian M74 gas mask is a licensed copy of the German M65 gas mask. The mask has been partially replaced by the M85 in use, but the M74 remains operational.
The gas mask is made from olive green chemically resistant neoprene rubber. It features two triangular corner-blended lenses (oculars) and a round breathing valve. Additionally, it has a mouth opening designed to prevent mask fogging. It includes an STANAG 4155 threaded gas canister connection. Comes with a carrying bag and filter. These gas masks are sold as collectibles and for decorative purposes and should not be used for their original intended use. Does not contain asbestos.
