Savotta 1-mag pouch, AR-15 - AK magazine pouch, green. The Savotta pouch holds one AK/RK or AR15 magazine containing 30 rounds. The flap is secured with a folding cover and Velcro. It features a PALS attachment on the back for a solid weave onto gear and can also be attached to a belt. This versatile pouch is designed for various uses. Although it is made for one 30-round AR15 PMAG with the Ranger Plate or a 30-round RK plastic magazine, it can accommodate many other items. Here’s a rough list of compatible gear for this pouch:

Pro-tip: When starting to use a new pouch, pinch the folding flap with your fingers to create a good C-bend. This makes closing the flap easier as the claw-like curve of the locking mechanism will align more smoothly into its counterpart. And don’t worry, polyethylene is incredibly durable; it won’t be damaged by bending or twisting, which is why we use it.
