The IFAK Pouch S MKII features a compact design that is 4 rows wide. Inside, there is a reinforced panel where medical supplies can be secured, and the panel can be easily pulled out using the attached red tab. The panel is also reversible, changing from bright red to black. It has elastic loops to secure supplies, preventing items from tumbling out when the panel is pulled.

The pouch fastens with a Velcro flap and has elastic loops on the sides for securing items like a tourniquet. The pouch can also be attached to 50mm belts.

Tasmanian Tiger is a sister company of Tatonka, a well-known maker of outdoor gear. The material is 700D Cordura, which is familiar from other Tasmanian Tiger products, offering better durability than the commonly known 500D Cordura, while being lighter than the heavier 1000D.

Tasmanian Tiger's IRR products are designed to meet the German Army standards for infrared protection. Unlike many manufacturers, Tasmanian Tiger did not take the easy route by only treating the fabric; all components, including elastic bands, Velcro, buckles, etc., have been treated as well.

The color of the IRR products is Stone Grey Olive, which is very close to the popular Ranger Green color.
