Tasmanian Tiger Tac Pouch 1.1 IRR - Tactical Utility Gear

Tasmanian Tiger Tac Pouch 1.1, IRR is the updated Tasmanian version of the Tac Pouch 1 universal pouch. This pouch features a new clamshell opening design, allowing the zipper to extend all the way down, enabling complete access to the contents. Inside, you will find elastic straps with two slots for items, and the lid has a mesh pocket with an additional cover to prevent items from falling out when fully opened. At the front, vertical straps provide attachment points for securing straps or shock cord configurations, for instance, to tighten gear. It attaches to two MOLLE webbing segments.

The material is rugged 700D Cordura, which is well-known from other Tasmanian Tiger products. It offers superior durability compared to the commonly known 500D Cordura, while remaining lighter than the bulkier 1000D.

Tasmanian Tiger's IRR, which refers to products protected against night vision devices, meets the German Army's standards for IRR protection. Unlike many manufacturers who only treat the fabric, Tasmanian Tiger ensures that every component, including elastic bands, Velcro, buckles, and more, has received treatment.

The color of the IRR products is Stone Grey Olive, which closely resembles the popular Ranger Green color.

Tasmanian Tiger is a sister company of the German brand Tatonka, known for its outdoor gear. While Tatonka specializes in trekking equipment, Tasmanian Tiger focuses on high-quality mid-level tactical gear for both recreational and professional use.
With a small caveat, these pouches could be used in actual combat situations, and they have indeed been spotted in real operations in limited numbers.
