Tasmanian Tiger Tourniquet Pouch II IRR is a closed model tourniquet pouch.
The pouch closes with Velcro and can be easily ripped open if necessary from the strap sewn to the lid. Inside, there are elastic loops to hold the tourniquet securely in place. The pouch attaches to a MOLLE system.
It can also be secured sideways to a belt using Tasmanian Tiger's HZ Adapter.
The material is made of 700D Cordura, well-known for its durability, achieving better endurance than the common 500D Cordura while being lighter than the heavier 1000D.
Tasmanian Tiger's IRR, or Infrared Reflective, products meet the German Army's IRR standards. Unlike several manufacturers, Tasmanian did not take the easy route and treat only the fabric; all components, including elastic bands, Velcro, buckles, etc., have also been treated.
The color of the IRR products is Stone Grey Olive, very close to the popular Ranger Green color.
