The Danish Armed Forces have selected the Ordinary sock by Sukkamestarit as part of their outdoor gear to provide durability and comfort in demanding conditions. Now available, the special Grade II Danish M25 thick and reliable sock. While these Grade II socks are practically full quality, they did not pass stringent quality criteria during manufacturing, which is why they are available for sale. These socks come in substantial sizes up to size 53.

Crafted entirely from merino wool, Ordinary socks feature a 4-layer construction that combines the benefits of layering into one product. A lightweight arch support and a snug fit above the ankle enhance comfort, while the subtle toe seam helps prevent chafing. Padding at the front of the ankle adds to the overall comfort.

Ordinary socks are designed for long marches in demanding conditions.

The combination of merino wool and polypropylene effectively wicks moisture away from the skin, keeping your feet dry and comfortable. Thanks to their antibacterial properties, merino wool socks resist odors, even during intense use. Often, airing out is sufficient for merino wool socks, prolonging their washing intervals and enhancing their usability.

Ordinary socks integrate perfectly with Gore-Tex footwear or combat boots, delivering comfort and performance in all conditions.

Care Instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before first use
for merino socks, airing is often sufficient
gentle wash up to a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius
use the lightest spin possible
utilize a wash bag to minimize product wear
avoid using detergents containing softeners or bleach
do not use a tumble dryer or heat drying programs
please note that merino wool socks may shrink in washing; reshape/stretch while damp to restore original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks tend to pill easily when rubbed

Naturally renewable and biodegradable, this natural fiber absorbs moisture well, resists wrinkling, and dries quickly. For woolen products, airing is sometimes sufficient instead of washing. Wool is naturally fire-resistant and withstands bacteria and mold effectively.
