Merino Terry Base Sock Lamu, chocolate. This merino wool sock is exceptionally warm and durable, with a plush and thicker terry knit throughout the entire foot area. The soft, thick ribbed shaft provides a comfortable fit without being overly tight. Ideal for cooler temperatures, these socks are perfect for lounging around.
Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep's wool possesses excellent functionality as it breathes and insulates heat effectively. This renewable and biodegradable natural fiber absorbs moisture well, resists wrinkling, and returns to shape quickly. Often, airing is sufficient instead of washing for wool products. Naturally fire-retardant, wool resists bacteria and mold effectively.
Sheep's wool is the oldest textile fiber derived from living organisms. Approximately 200 different breeds of sheep produce wool. Only ecological and responsibly sourced certified Nativa™ merino wool is utilized in sock production. The merino sheep is exclusively bred for fine under-wool, producing fleece that is softer and finer than regular sheep's wool. All merino wool socks are also mulesing-free.
When selecting the size of merino wool socks, note that they are knitted with a shrinkage allowance of 3-5%. It’s advisable to wash the socks before first use to ensure they fit correctly. Merino wool terry socks are also slightly wider than usual sizing; therefore, one size smaller than normal may be the right fit for some.
