Merino Frotté Sock Lamu, Chocolate.  This merino wool sock is exceptionally warm and durable, designed with a thick terry knit that covers the entire foot for superior comfort. The soft, chunky ribbed cuff offers a gentle fit without being restrictive. Perfect for cooler temperatures, making it an ideal lounging sock.

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep’s wool possesses remarkable qualities, as it breathes well and provides excellent insulation against the cold. Naturally renewable and biodegradable, this fiber absorbs moisture effectively, resists wrinkling, and recovers quickly. Often, airing out wool products is sufficient instead of washing. Wool is also naturally fire-resistant and has excellent resistance to bacteria and mold.

Sheep's wool is the oldest textile fiber derived from living organisms. There are about 200 different breeds of sheep that produce wool. Our socks are crafted exclusively from eco-friendly and responsibly sourced Nativa™ certified merino wool. Merino sheep are specifically bred for fine undercoat wool; their fleece is softer and finer than regular sheep's wool. All merino wool socks are also mulesing-free.

When selecting the size for merino wool socks, keep in mind that they are knitted with a 3-5% shrinkage allowance. Washing the socks before the first use ensures they fit correctly. Merino wool terry socks tend to be slightly wider than standard sizing. For some, the optimal size for terry socks may be one size smaller than usual.
