U.S.E. Merino Fleece Hoodie, Black. A warm, zippered merino fleece hoodie with a great cut.
Crafted with our own design, this merino fleece hoodie is manufactured in Tampere. The merino fleece fabric efficiently wicks moisture away from the skin compared to standard materials. The hood is made from three pieces and offers an excellent fit, easily adjustable with standard cords that hang in front. The hood also features a rising collar that protects against wind and cold when the zipper is fully up.
The hoodie has a long hem that extends slightly longer in the back than the front, keeping the cold at bay even when squatting. Side pockets are secured with zippers and feature mesh linings sewn at the corners to prevent twisting. The separate pouch allows for keys, bus cards, or other sharp items to avoid damaging the hoodie’s fabric.
The cuffs have thumbholes made of elastic, allowing the sleeve to protect part of the hand when standard gloves feel excessive. The sleeves are raglan-style, meaning the seam runs from the collar to the underarm, reducing shoulder constriction and friction with a backpack.
The fabric is primarily mulesing-free merino wool, reinforced with polyamide for durability, also helping to resist flames if a spark encounters the fabric. It includes 2% polyester.
Merino wool is non-itchy unlike standard wool, making it suitable for sensitive skin or wool allergies, and the inner fleece is exceedingly comfortable against the skin.

Care instructions: Merino wool fabric is finished, so products made from it do not need to be washed before use. Wash if necessary using a washing machine on a wool program at 30 °C, turned inside out and with similarly colored items. Use a gentle, neutral detergent designed for wool and silk. Shape it slightly lengthwise while damp. Do not use a tumble dryer. Due to the anti-bacterial properties of merino wool, it does not require frequent washing; airing is often sufficient.
