UphillSport ROVA Hunting and Fishing Socks, 4-Layer, Green. The UphillSport Rova sock features a robust 4-layer construction designed for year-round conditions. Developed for the rugged hunting grounds of the Rovajärvi area, this sock meets the demanding requirements of the terrain. The foot section utilizes a 4-layer design that effectively wicks moisture away from the skin. The innermost layer comprises polypropylene enhanced with silver ions for antibacterial protection. The next layer is made of merino wool, which absorbs moisture from the inner layers while providing breathability and continues to wick away moisture to the outside. Merino wool captures a significant amount of air, serving as an insulator against the cold while allowing moisture to escape. During breaks, the sock dries quickly. Moreover, merino wool remains odor-free even after prolonged use, and the added polypropylene with integrated silver ions further enhances its antibacterial properties. The outer layer of merino wool offers breathability and warmth.

The sock's shaft is crafted from merino wool reinforced with elastane, ensuring it stays securely in place. Additional compression around the ankle and foot provides an excellent fit. The toe area is seamless.

We recommend these socks for hunting and fishing trips, ranging from one-day outings to extended adventures; two pairs are sufficient for a week-long excursion.

When selecting a size, note that merino wool socks have a built-in shrinkage allowance of 3-5%. It is advisable to wash the socks before first use to ensure they fit properly. Merino wool terry-based sock models are slightly wider than normal sizing. In terry sock models, a suitable size may be one size smaller than usual.
