Tasmanian Tiger Tac Pouch 2 Radio MKII Low-profile pouch for radios.
The Tac Pouch 2 Radio MKII is a revolutionary design that shares little with its predecessor aside from the basic function of carrying radios.
The MKII model borrows its design from the manufacturer’s MCL LP magazine pouches. The sides are elastic, allowing most commonly-sized radios to fit, even those with quirky protrusions. The radio is secured in place using shock cord and the pouch closes with a buckle. The bottom of the pouch can also be opened and secured with the same buckle and two snaps, enabling easy battery changes without removing the radio.
The manufacturer claims this pouch is sized for SEM 52 and SEM 52 SL radios, but other models should fit if dimensions match!
The material is 700D Cordura, which provides superior durability compared to the more common 500D Cordura, while being lighter than the heavier 1000D.
